Brands winning on Snapchat
Panini NFL
Panini NFL, the leading app for NFL collectibles, wanted a cost-effective way to create content optimized for Snapchat ads and drive app downloads. Partnering with Social Native, they produced user-generated videos of customers engaging with the app — testing 10 assets in 72 hours and uncovering 4 attributes of high-performing content to repeat. The result: 3× higher Snapchat ad performance, and Snapchatters who spent 20% more time in-app than users acquired elsewhere.
Uber
Uber activated the Social Native Creator Marketplace to produce original branded video — testimonials, how-tos, and humor — for their Snapchat app-download strategy, driving a 1.7× lower cost per install and an 8% lift in swipes.
What works on Snapchat
Snapchat is private where most platforms are public. The dominant behaviour is sending something directly to a friend rather than broadcasting it to followers, and that gives the whole platform a different register — closer to a message than a post. Content that looks expensively produced can read as intrusive in that context.
The native unit is full-screen vertical video, and the platform's most distinctive format has no real equivalent elsewhere: AR lenses, where the audience uses the brand's creative themselves rather than watching it. That is a participation format, not a broadcast one.
As a Snapchat Official Partner we source creators who are fluent in that casual, direct register and produce full-screen vertical content built for it, rather than adapting a landscape or square asset into the space.

Snapchat questions, answered.
The audience skews younger than most major platforms, and the usage is predominantly private messaging between people who know each other. For brands that means the content has to earn its place in a conversational space, where an obvious advertisement feels more out of place than it would in a public feed.
Full-screen vertical video is the baseline, and the tone is markedly more casual than on other platforms. Content shot to look polished often performs worse than content that looks like it was made by a person, because the latter matches what everything else on the platform looks like.
Lenses let people apply a brand's creative to themselves and then share the result, which makes the audience a participant rather than a viewer. They work best when the interaction is genuinely fun on its own terms — a lens that is only a logo placement gets used once and not shared.
